Can I collect deposits?+

Yes. You can collect online deposits through your connected Stripe account or manually record cash, cheque and e-transfer deposits.

Does CoatMetric hold my customer’s money?+

No. Online deposits are processed through your connected Stripe account and paid out according to Stripe’s payout schedule.

What are the fees for collecting online deposits?+

CoatMetric does not charge any additional transaction fees on your deposits. When customers pay online, standard Stripe processing fees apply (in Canada, typically 2.9% + 30¢ per successful domestic card payment; international cards and other payment methods may cost more). Stripe deducts its fee automatically before paying out the balance. See stripe.com/pricing for current rates.

Can I use CoatMetric on my phone?+

Yes. CoatMetric is mobile responsive and can be added to a phone home screen where supported.
